Trip to Gaylord - June 27-29

Forest had a "work conference" (aka 4 day long party) up at Mackinaw Island so Sienna and I decided we would go up and visit my parents and some friends. We visited Angie and her crew on Thursday for a few hours. On Friday, we went to check out the daycare that she was supposed to stay in the following Monday-Weds while she stayed with Grandma and Grandpa. On Saturday, we went up to the Alpenfest clothing swap (but didn't find anything) and the Farmer's Market. On Sunday, Forest came back and we went to Sindye and Chad's for a lunch. Lots of high school friends (and their families) were there, including Linda (all the way from Wyoming), Sue, Janet and Angie. We couldn't stay long - but had a good time. The weekend wrapped up with a visit to Forest Dad's place, where we had a great meal salad and venison burger and brats and brown trout. Of course, we topped the meal off with vanilla ice cream with strawberries and maple syrup (yum!).

Unfortunately, Sienna got sick on Thursday night with a high fever that turned into a bad cold (which she still has as of today :( )
