Dedicated to Great-Grandma McCreery

Sadly, we got a call on January 3rd that Great-Grandma McCreery had suffered a massive hemorrhagic stroke that she would not survive. We flew to D.C. on Saturday to be with the family. In technical terms...Grandma's stroke was "HUGE" and may even have involved more than one bleed, which is very unusual. Per the instructions in her living will, she was taken off life support on Friday evening. Due to the severity of her stroke, she was not expected to live more than a few minutes. Being the unbelieveably strong woman that she always has been....she defied all doctors' expectations and lived until Tuesday the following week!! ________________________________________________________
Grandma McCreery was an interesting lady. She was 88 years old and very healthy and strong right up until the end. She graduated college and worked as a teacher - in a time when this was highly unusual for women.

Caveney Xmas

FINALLY! we had our last Xmas party with Grandpa Ned at our house.

Here is G-pa Ned trying on Sienna's dress from Aunt Heather.

Xmas pictures - Gaylord

Xmas Eve was relaxing with the Freymuth's. It took forever for Sienna to open up all her gifts from Grandma Jean and Grandpa Mike on Xmas morning. We then went over to Gayla's for dinner.

Playing hockey with Bruno

Sienna had a great time playing hockey with my Boss, Bruno Giordani, at the work holiday party.

Sienna goes to work with Mom

Sienna came to work with me on December 14th. She was unusually charming the whole time and won over the whole staff....especially the Boss' mother who gave her her first cookie!
